About the site and its polls

Ask Salem County is an independent community participation website. It is not affiliated with Salem County government or any municipality. Polls are informal, voluntary and non-scientific. Results reflect only the people who choose to participate; they are not official votes or representative polling.

Site content and poll results should not be used as the sole basis for legal, financial, governmental, electoral or other significant decisions.

Content you submit

You are responsible for content you submit, including poll suggestions, comments or messages, images and documents. You must have the rights or permission needed to submit and share any image, document or other material you upload.

Do not submit unlawful content; threats; harassment; personal or private information; defamatory or unsupported accusations; spam; malicious uploads; or content that violates another person's rights.

Ask Salem County may review, rewrite, reject, remove, close or archive user-submitted content to operate the service and protect participants and the community. We do not guarantee that user-submitted information is accurate or complete.

Availability and participation

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Voting or other participation that appears abusive or duplicative may be limited or blocked.
